After talking with at least five contractors, we were honestly fed up and close to scrapping the whole project. Then, by complete coincidence, I met Victor on a walk with my dog, and even more of a coincidence, he was the one who had worked on the project down our street that originally inspired us. We ended up hiring him to renovate both our front and backyard, and we’re so glad we did. His pricing was very fair, and he was completely transparent about what the job would involve. We had a very specific plan in mind (pavers, retaining walls, front steps, bench, etc.), and he executed it almost exactly as we envisioned. Throughout the entire process, Victor stayed in constant communication, which really helped put us at ease (especially when our yard was just dirt and rubble). He assessed the job quickly and efficiently, providing us with a same day quote that was priced much better than everyone else we called. He was able to help us coordinate with our fence company that was doing an installation at the same time and was quick to respond to any inquiries/texts we had. The workers at Belman came and did a fantastic job and were always willing to make any adjustments we requested. It was a difficult job and a big ask on our end. I had Victor and his crew fix an issue where the ground sloped toward my house causing water to collect against my home. He and his son came out and gave a quote that was a outside of our original budget. After a bit of discussion we were able to negotiate a fair price that we were both happy with. Work was completed timely and the crew was courteous, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves daily. We are very pleased with the result. Will definitely use them for future projects.
